Apple HomeView puts Siri AI and household controls on a 7-inch screen, with the smart display priced at $299 in the U.S. Apple announced the device on October 13, opening pre-orders in several markets ahead of availability beginning November 13.

The display brings entertainment, FaceTime, home monitoring and voice-controlled automations into one device. Apple says it recognizes users by their faces, then adapts access to personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders and Find My.

Apple HomeView pairs home controls with personalized access

HomeView uses a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and an aluminum design, with a domed speaker base connected by a stainless steel hinge. Customers can place it on a tabletop or choose a wall-mounted model for spaces such as an entryway or hallway.

Apple says the built-in Siri AI is a new version of its assistant, with broader world knowledge, richer music discovery and on-screen awareness. When paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, HomeView can draw on personal context such as calendar entries and messages to provide more personalized responses.

That setup makes the screen more than a shared control panel. Apple is positioning it as a household device that can shift to each person's own content, while also bringing smart-home functions within reach in common areas.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said HomeView is “designed to be shared by everyone in the home yet feel completely personal to each user.” He said the device recognizes faces, supports FaceTime and makes it easier to control a smart home, while drawing on personal context from an iPhone.

Pre-orders and availability vary by country

Customers in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, the UK and the U.S. can pre-order the standard model in silver, starlight, rose pink and space gray for $299 (U.S.). The wall-mounted version is also priced at $299 (U.S.) and comes in space gray and silver.

In Singapore, pre-orders start Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. SGT. Both models are due to become available in the listed markets on Friday, November 13. Customers in South Africa can order through Apple Authorized Resellers, with availability beginning the same day.

Apple says HomeView will not be sold in the European Union because Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS there. The company said it is working with the EU to find a path forward.

The wall-mounted device has three purpose-built mount options from Schneider Home. Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector starts at $59.95 (U.S.), while Power Mount AC Wired starts at $79.95 (U.S.); both can be ordered from Apple starting today. Power Mount PoE Wired is scheduled to arrive in early 2027 for $129.95 (U.S.).

Siri AI on HomeView supports English in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and the UK. Apple says Canadian French-language support will come later through a free software update.
